Winifred, the bantam was an important guest at the Trusts Garden Tea Party held at Tim and Sandy’s house at Higher Penhalt on Saturday 21st May. The attendees were asked to guess when she had laid an egg that morning. This was just one of the small competitions used to help with the fund raising. Most important was the delicious cream teas and Sandy’s diet busting cakes. The weather was a little more kind than predicted and so many also enjoyed the garden. As a result, nearly £300 was raised for the Trust.
